Fund Update

The Cash First Flexible Crisis Fund is currently open.

The Cash First Flexible Crisis Fund reopened on the 1st of September 2026 and will remain available until March 2027.

Building on the success of the Cash First pilot, this next phase will support a broader group of people to help test and evaluate the effectiveness of the approach across a wider demographic.

For this funding round, financial and person-centred, wrap-around support is available to single adults, over the age of 18 years-old, who have no full-time dependants, and who are in receipt of an income-related benefit.

Individuals cannot apply directly and must be referred through one of our trusted partner organisations.
